Find something to keep yourself busy tomorrow until you get the 'all done' call from the vet. And rest up the best you can while Blaze is in the very capable hands of the vet.
I'll be thinking about you guys tomorrow and looking for an update.

Wishing the best for a smooth surgery for Blaze...lots of prayers and good thoughts coming your way.
Remember to take care of you, too...wine and chocolate definitely help! And if you spend hours and hours reading all the threads about what to expect before and after surgery and watching all the inspirational videos, just know that you'll be in great company.
And if you haven't discovered it yet, the advanced search feature for the forums is great -- you can search by key words or a specific phrase. So many of us have been in your shoes, and we learn from and lean on each other. That's what this wonderful community is for, so please don't hesitate to read and reach out with questions or if you just want some reassurance.
Hang in there and keep us posted...we'll all be pulling for Blaze!
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
OKey dokey! We are definitely sending lots of love and a gazillion wishes for a routine surgery and quick, boring recovery! Keep us posted and like Deb said, ask anything you'd like, we are here for you.
P.S. Deb thanks for mentioning our search feature here, you're right, it's pawsome for finding information while you're waiting for real-time feedback from the community.

Christine.. with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
Blaze is out of surgery! He handled the anesthesia well and is in recovery. He may be home tomorrow or Christmas. I got some good news.....NO LUNG METS!!!!!!
Blaze was first dx'd in March 2014 with OSA based on X-rays. He had a biopsy in April that was negative for cancer. But still had that ugly X-ray and limp so we treated conservatively with pamindronate for presumed OSA. Still no mets in October but bone leision was growing and limp worsening to the point Blaze was dragging his knuckles and not using the leg. Now today, no mets still! Maybe no OSA? Maybe something far less aggressive? Lymph nodes were sent to pathology too.
What I know for sure....no more pain!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Mary that is fantastic. You have been very proactive and I'll bet the pamidronate could only have helped fight whatever this thing is. Through the years we've had a few dogs whose diagnosis started out as OSA but after the dog ended up surviving for years on end (see Radar's story), it's presumed that the dogs had something else. Whatever it is, we all hope that Blaze has many, many happy times ahead.
I hope he gets to come home for Christmas! What a celebration that will be!
