Thank you all for your support.. From this forum we learned and anticipated the 14 days post op would be the hardest.. so we could brace for the ride.. It was up and down but now at 14 days we are pleased. We decided to go the chemo route.. we did a lot of research like all of us do.. and decided to go for it and not try and second guess.. BUT out main focus is quality of life. I cannot tell you how excited we were when we went for a walk,.. day 12 and the spark in her eyes .. priceless
I will try and post pictures and videos.. I am not good at figuring this all out but will try...
Thanks for the great update!
Here are instructions for embedding photos in forum posts. If you don't already share photos online somewhere, you can upload them to the Media Library in your blog.
The easiest way to share videos id to post them to Youtube or Vimeo first. Then you can just pasted the view page URL on a line by itself in your blog post or forum topic and the movie will automatically embed.

I'm glad things are going well for you both. That spark in the eyes is a moment to live for!

Awesome 14 day report. Most of them are well on their way by the end of that second week. It is a great feeling to see the former dog return and begin to enjoy the things they always loved to do.
Congratulations on the big decision about chemo. That was one demon I really struggled with. It took a very patient vet, and my husband who was willing to do anything to give Trouble the best shot to convince me to just try once and if it affected Trouble badly we would stop.
I am convinced the early detection, amputation, and chemo gave her the 27 1/2 months and would have been even longer had the arthritis and age not taken her mobility away. We were blessed to be given those extra months.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Tiffany is now going to get her third round of chemo. Her WBC have kept in the normal range. We have used the k9 immunity plus during the chemo.... Maybe that has helped? The good news is she is all back to normal bounding up and down the stairs and jumping up and down from the bed. She has learned to chew bones with one paw. All of these accomplishments makes her feel so proud. At this point we feel "every extra day" is a gift and at this point as long as we see she is happy we are not going to worry about the future. As someone's said in a post. Getting to this point releases you from the fear and let's you enjoy the present.
Thank you to everyone who has provided such kind words and encouragement.

Sounds like she is doing well - and so are you!
You have the right attitude - every day is a gift. We all have to make the most of today.
Keep the good updates coming!
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Good to hear Tiffany is still going well. I agree, every "extra day" is a gift to be treasured and seeing them pain free and happy is priceless.

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end.
