Some dogs do get GI upset, so watch for that. We have quite a few Palladia topics here but I'm on my phone and will try to post them tomorrow.
Glad she's been in therapy!

My girl, the cancer warrior, passed peacefully at home Friday night. I have been writing about her since the next morning when I came downstairs and couldn't bear to face the day. My brain and heart were already beating me up, angry at what I'd done, so I had to record her decline so I wouldn't forget that I did it to save her from increasing pain and suffering as the cancer very suddenly raged.
If there is somewhere you recommend to submit the essay coming from my mourning, for possible publication when it's finished, please point me in the right direction. What a bittersweet journey. After she healed from amputation her amazing sparkle was full-on for every human who encountered her. The very lucky ones were the humans who came into our home and received the full deluxe hello-package of a fully flopping Sante + Ducky wagging, snorting, greeting. She gave so much love.
I am broken and lost without her.
Thank you for your support during a very difficult time, a time when I felt I lacked the necessary skills to do best by my soul-dog. We made it through and found many smiles, but for too short a time.
Suz
Suz, we are so deeply sorry. This all happened so fast, you must be reeling and you have our deepest condolences. It's unimaginable how quickly the cancer moved, just so heartbreaking. I'm so sorry.
Give yourself time to grieve, and be kind to yourself. You did the best you could for her, her entire team did. She touched so many people in her life, that cancer will never define her legacy. She was so much more than that.
I can only imagine her deluxe hello-package! Yes the people who got to see her bounce-back were so lucky! They will never forget her charm and spunk before and after she lost her leg. I imagine that her adorable personality is charming all the boy dogs at the Rainbow Bridge now, and they for sure are smitten by her. We would love to know more about your special girl. Please feel free to share your tribute to her in Coping with Loss, so that we can all honor your special heart dog. We look forward to reading it, and if you'd like help adding images , just send them to me and I'll take care of it.
Many, many hugs and lots of love headed your way today and always. Thank you for your courage to return and let us know.
