I am sitting here with my heart in my throat and my stomach too. I had to take my niece to a Dr. Appt. this morning because of her Mom being so ill. My husband had called back down to vets office last night and left a msg. That he felt we are dealing with a really bad situation here. When I got home, the first thing I did after checking on my boy was check messages. There was a message saying that biopsi results are in and both his surgeon and internal med Dr. Are discussing them. WHAT THE HECK!!!!!! They will call me later. So I am alternating between its cancer, ther is nothing we can do so we will call later to its an infection, we don't know what to do or the most likely scenario, they are both busy. If it is cancer, I need to end his pain. He is suffering and I can't watch it any more When I left this morning, I just kept thinking of how miserable he looked laying on his bed with this stupid wound, tumor, lump whatever seeping. I feel like I am watching him fade away before my eyes. I went and bought some bandage stuff to at least be doing something. I feel like it gave him back a bit of his dignity. He drank some water and ate one bite of deer burger and a couple of his blueberry cookies. I feel like this is some kind of a cruel joke. We have your results, but we will tell you later. Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. And if it is an infection, I am furious that we are not already treating it TODAY!
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
I am so sorry to be reading this, and so sorry you feel so helpless with this situation......you can vent all you want, we will all be here to listen. I would be pretty upset too, if I thought my vets were putting me off till they got around to dealing with one of my beloved pet's problems. I think you have had to wait long enough for answers.
I will say a couple prayers, and keep you and Ty in my continuing thoughts as you deal with this.....
{{{hugs, too}}}

I'm so sorry you are put in this agonizing position. No, it's not fair to keep you hanging. Don't be shy about calling back if you don't feel you're hearing from them in a timely manner. Hang in there. I know it's so difficult.
Hugs,
Amy & Libby
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
OH I feel your pain.... I would go bat shit ballistic on them! (pardon my french)..... You are an excellent doggy mommy and I know that Ty knows that! Vent away....
Still holding on strong for positive news ... that he ate SOMETHING is good! He knows you love him.
Hugs!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
my daughter lives 2 hrs. away. She called to see if we heard anything. Ty means the world to her too. When I told her what had happened, she was not as patient. After speaking to a couple of people, she was put into Dr.'s voicemail. Not sure what was in her msg. but I got a call saying again 'results are in , but a Dr. has to tell you. That is such a dumb rule. Does not necessarily mean it is bad because they would not tell me results of his ultrasound and xrays and they were fine last time. They are done seeing patients at 6 so hopefully I will be posting something soon. Sorry! and it takes a lot to make me angry too! Well unless you mess with my kids or my pets.

I'm with you on messing with either my pets or my kids....and now my granddaughter.
Here's hoping (and praying) that the news is good....and Ty has a very treatable issue going on.....the healing process can really be affected if an infection arises that is not being treated by the right antibiotic....
Lots of hugs

Give allof us the damn (yeah..."french invasion" again) and we'll call too!!! This IS CRUEL!!
Let'ssee...over 5,000 members calling all at once?? Yeah, I bet he'd make time to review things then!! I mean, REALY! I'm sure a patient wouldn't mind waiting a few mintes for him to call you!
Omay, I know I'm no help here...jusg addng fuel to the fire!!
How is it that the "French" get blamed anytime we curse anyway??
