Skyler lost her battle this morning. She seemed a little perkier before I went to bed last night. When I checked on her this morning she had thrown up, we rushed her to the vet's but she stopped breathing right after we got there. They tried to bring her back but she passed away. She was our special baby girl.
Dear Marjorie, I am so sorry that Skyler passed away so suddenly. Please do not beat yourself up. You made the decision to go for the surgery for what was good for her based on the info you got at the moment. Skyler knew. She is out of her broken body and is running pain free with other new friends.
Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Please accept our deepest condolences, and know that by sharing your experience with Skyler here you are certain to help others prepare for similar situations with their own dogs. Thank you.

Our entire family is deeply sorrowed to hear of the loss of Skyler. When they enter our lives we know that their stay will not be long enough, but we can never be prepared for the time when such a loss comes. To the extent that you can, try to remember the good times and believe that Skyler has only left this broken body to wait until you can all be together again. There are many times that this is the only thought that keeps me from totally loosing it myself.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I can only hope the enormous pain you feel now will be replaced by the fond memories that will stay with you forever.

What a sad day for you and your family and for the family of Tripawds. It is hard to lose a companion that we love so much. Get through the tears and then remember all the wonderful memories you have with Skyler.
Sending our love,

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
I am so sorry that Skyler had to leave but in a strange way, I am glad for you that you didn't have to choose her time. She left on her own and is now at peace and no longer in any discomfort. In fact, she is running on all fours again and loving the company of other former tripawds. She will enjoy her time and then be reunited with you one day in full joy!! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I've been through it myself and will always miss our Abbey but look forward to that day of reunion.
His Peace to you, Diane
I am sorry for the loss of your furbaby girl, Skyler. Be at peace knowing you helped her fight this to the end. I agree with Diane, Skyler left this earth on her own terms. She was tired and now she is anew....
Words will never fill that void that is felt when we we lose a piece of your heart. Honor her spirit.
With Sympathy,
