Isn't it fun to see them regain their spunk and 'Tropical Storm' status?
Congrats!!! TS Shelby
Angel JD's mom
JD
One Tough Girl
(1999-2010)
-Diagnosed with osteosarcoma of her left front leg –
-Amputation July 23 2010 –
-The cancer didn't get her, but she is gone-
-She fought the cancer and loved life till bloat brought her down August 29th, 2010-
Now she watches over her mom and two new sisters, the Quad-Paws Serena and Maya
I am so remiss in not posting sooner....I'm one of those crazy people who walks shelters trying to get dogs out who are on Death Row and it's been raining black labs lately....so far, I'm batting 1,000 but for each one we get out, two more come in. Now there are two HW+ seniors in there, including one who is losing her sight.
And slow PC problems, including inability to seemingly post FABULOUS pics of Shelby and the gang. Forget Tropical Storm status....she's been updgraded to a CAT4! She's full of life....runs faster than the other three dogs.
I am so utterly blessed and thank creation for these wonderful 3 and 4 legged souls who bless my life. And though I want to clobber her if she steps on my sprained foot, thankful that silly Shelby defied the odds!

It sound like Shebly is in better shape than you! Last time it was your back and now your foot!!
I would imagine the shelters are terrible in FL with all of the foreclosures and economy issues. It's a full blow depression here in Vegas. I would have to walk away from the shelter because my heart would heart too bad. But I admire you for having the courage.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Glad to hear Shelby has been upgraded to a Cat4 but I might not want to see what is bigger than a tropical storm!
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Goodness! Was I drunk when I posted?!!
