Catching up on all the posts and glad to hear that Violet is recovering well! My 8 year old boxer Siren just had her front limb amputated almost 2 weeks ago due to osteosarcoma as well and I had all the same concerns. She did develop a seroma
that was leaking pretty good for 4days but her vet said it was normal. It warms my heart to know Violet is getting back to her wonderful self and thank you for sharing your concerns and worries, makes me realize again everything we are dealing we are not alone.

No, lol I can't say I'd ever be happy about the look of my dogs poop.
I think it's time for another chat with my vet though. Violet's poop has gone runny again and I don't know why 
I'm wondering if it's the type of meat that her tummy isn't agreeing with. She's been eating cooked lamb, but raw lamb has been her main diet for years. So I'm at a loss. I don't know what else to do.
She really is a sweetheart. She loves bringing people presents.

Meghan, I know that it can be tough to figure out digestive issues. Definitely talk to your vet about it. When the body has surgery, all kinds of systems take a hit and go wonky. Raw meat might be too much for her system to handle now. You may also want to try edible green clay to see if that helps, we find it works great for runny poop. It may not solve the problem for good but it can help her feel better.

I got some weird probiotic paste from the vet to help with her poop. It helped for a day and has gone runny again and now I've noticed a bit of blood. So something is definitely irritated. She's still eating a bland diet of only rice and cooked lamb.
The vet also gave me a poop sample kit, which at this point, I think it wise to send it away for tests. She's still eating well and going for walks. She's back to drinking her regular amount of water. But I just don't know what happened to cause the runny poop. Would any pet store carry edible green clay ?? I'm feeling that it's not wise to keep her on a bland diet for so long. I think she's lost some weight. Has anyone tried fasting their dog for like 12 hours or so and then trying a bland diet of squash and lean meat? I'm wondering if the rice is irritating her tummy.
