so it all went well apparently and he is recovering from the anaesthetic. He has already been for a little walk and had a wee bless him.

Still feel bit anxious about seeing him but hopefully will go ok. We pick him up either tomorrow or Christmas Day!!

Yay Scoobies done with surgery!  Now you'll need to channel your inner dog and take one day at a time and project pawsitivity to Scoobie.  Be a strong pack leader for him and very quickly he'll pick up on his new normal.  We'll be here for you every step of the way.  Get some good rest tonight Scoobie is in good hands.  Here's to an uneventful recovery!  Keep us posted.  It'll be a special Christmas for both of you this year.

YAY for a smooth surgery! He's going to do great!!!

I would think you could use the helpline if you can call the states... I don't see why you couldn't. The helpline is for ALL members of the Tripawds community - regardless of location! 🙂

Happy Holidays and feel free to reach out here or on the phone if you need support, help or milestones!!! We want to hear how he's doing!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Good news!

I'm glad that Scooby's surgery is done and it sounds like he is doing well.

Let us know when you get your boy home.
