Picked him up an hour or so ago..he's doing so well now on oral painkillers. He has adapted well so far. He is a little bit sleepy now and has been making a few little whimpering noises but apart from that he seems happy enough.
bless him.. Such a brave boy.
Thanks for all the support and advice on here- so appreciated.
Happy Christmas to all of you and your furry friends xxx
SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!! SCOOBY IS HOME!!!
Yeah, whimpering, restlessness, just overall being uncomfortable...all "normal". I think the first three nights home, my Happy Hannah may have slept a total of a couple hours, and zero zzzz's for me!
Scooby may, or may. or may not, feel like eating. He may not poop for a couple of days. As long as he's drinking and peeing, and eating enought to coat is tummy for the pills, he's doing good. Potty breaks and rest, and opening his presents, are all he should be doing for now!
Merry Christmas!!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
