Hey Everyone,
We took Purrkins this morning to MSU oncology for his 6 month post amp checkup. I told Purrkins we were going and we would be coming right back home.
I assumed our appointment would be a good physical exam, bloodwork and possibly a X-ray .
When we got there they said their 6 months check is all of the above and ultrasound .
Of course we had a choice , Mark thought we better do them all and see where we are at. So we had to leave Purrkins for the day.
I wanted to jump on and ask for some Tripawd Power! PAWSITIVE energy ,thoughts ,prayers for the day please!
I just wasn't prepared mentally for the ultrasound, shaving him again ,he just got his fur back 😔and of course leaving him for the day, I am a little shook up! Purrkins is shook up too no doubt.
I rationally know in the big scheme of things this is important ,to see where we are at and to know the cancer did leave with that leg.🙏
Mark took the day off to go with us today, we are going to go out and spend some Christmas gift cards😉 and try to breathe and be pawsitive.
We will update later today , when we pick Purrkins up and have our results.

Good to have everything checked out once and not have to go back ( but would have been nice to know what that entailed beforehand.)

Thank you everyone! MSU just called and they had a emergency so Purrkins got bumped back his ultrasound now isnt until 4:30 
We are to go at 5. She said he is doing good and just hanging out. Sure ok. Like he has a choice.
So more waiting and we are done shopping for now. That helped stop the mind whirling for a bit!

Cats are lactose intolerant but a little lick is ok. Probably why no kitty lattes. They have had whip cream before a taste and all went ok.

Thinking about you and Purrkins and hoping for the best results!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

We are ecstatic to announce we are still cancer free!!!Everything came back perfect!! Unremarkable🎉
You couldn't pop me right now if you tried , so happy and relived its a great day!
I asked the Dr if I could hug her I was so happy and thankful! She said absolutely ,
we were the only good news she got to pass on today. She was as happy as we are!
Purrkins got all kind of hugs and extra attention , they told Purrkins to keep on being himself, they adore him, "sweetest kitty they have ever met.😻"
They would like to check him again in 6 months and then if still clear we will be free for a year. The longer we are clear the longer we can space appointments out!
She felt very positive ,but again, it was cancer and they would like to just keep on eye on him, she said alot of times, the cancer can come back in a different form or kind. Which we do see here. For now we are still cancer free and we are going to continue to fight this you know what disease. Stay hopeful and Pawsitive we are going to never see it again.
The boys say thank you sally! they got a taste of a PURRPUCCINO. for celebration !

YAAAAY is right ! We feel the same way over here very emotional day! Crying and laughing just a enormous relief!
Grateful beyond words! Then I came home and had to fight with internet to share our good news. Oh well it didnt win after all either !
I have a video of Saxton slurping the Purrpucino will post when the internet is more cooperative . We will have to get back on track with to the kitty diet after today. 😉 Little taste of whip cream ok for today.
