He looks so happy sleeping. I am so glad you figure it out! And I love the Team No Sleep t-shirt!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

One thing I did with Otis (and an idea I picked up on the site) was aromatherapy. I scent my bedroom with peppermint and lavender essential oils, so I scented a hand towel and put it in the living room where Otis and I were sleeping. Not sure if it really helped or not, but it seemed to.
I picked up a tranquil candle from the store last night (lavender) and it's in our living room. Not sure if it helps, but it makes our apartment smell better 🙂

Barrett will appreciate the compliment, Sally lol!! Puppy just jumped up crying, so we're leashing him up for a walk and gave him another 1/2 a tram.

Yeah for sleep! Your t-shirt is hysterical! It really is like having a baby again at times. Great job being an advocate for Puppy.

Donna,
We are getting married in August, and his mother has been very serious about us having a baby immediately (we're almost 33, and apparently that's pretty old lol). I'm not so sure this experience has convinced me that new born babies are for me!

Hahaha!!
Love the shirt. LOVE the pictures of gorgeous Ollie. I LUFFS him!! And I am so glad you have found the tricksy right balance and routine for meds that are allowing you all to get some blissful, recuperative sleep!
Super news you have an earlier appointment - can't imagine the removal at that point will be an issue!
Lisa, Minneapolis
On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.

Ollie is ADORABLE! And so is Barrett! Ollie looks really happy, and it sounds like you guys have it really figured out - give yourself a huge pat on the back! Good luck with the biopsy results!Clyde's Mom
Thank you! Sleepy puppies are so much better than crying ones ... we're so happy he is getting the rest that he needs to return to our baby boy!

Ahhh, well in that case, this is good practice! lol 33 is ok, you're not officially "old" until you're 35 (in the OB world, advanced maternal age is any woman over 35 yrs...sorry!) I remember when Cassie was a puppy, I was working midnight shift and trying to house-train her ugh! She woke me up every 2-3 hours for months, so I really did feel like I had a baby in the house lol. She started sleeping longer periods at night, so it was better for my husband. Now, of course, she loves to sleep all day. Murphy was about 8 months old when we got him, and Max was about 6 months old, so they were both mostly house-trained.
