We're Home! I'm sitting here watching her sleep finally... She hopped up two little steps to the front door. I thought I would have to carry her but just assisted with her temp sling. Bandages come off on Wed and then stiches in two weeks. All is well for the moment....
Our angel "Etta" amputation on 4-15-10 lost her front limb. initially dx'd with neurofibrosarcoma. However, after surgery they discovered histiocytic sarcoma a very aggressive cancer. After two full rounds of chemo our special angel lost her battle on 6-21-10. the sweetest and most gentle soul. Our lives are forever blessed for having known her...
This is the tough time, but you will both get through it. We're all right here if you need support. Get your rest when Etta rests, and face everything as it presents itself.
Have a speedy recovery, Miss Etta!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Wow, that's a pretty bandage.
Hang in there Etta! Recovery will be a bit rough, especially with the added responsibility of taking care of your nervous pawrents. But try not to worry about them too much, they'll be okay. Rest up!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.

Hey sweet girl, we're glad your back at home in your comfy bed and recuperating. You look pretty darn good, it's so great to see your photo! Take it easy and rest up, you have lots of Tripawd Ambassador duties to tend to when you're all healed!

Oh I LOVE your bandage Etta!!! And you are so clever to manage the steps right away. Now take time to heal and try to get lots of rest. Make sure you look sad every so often to get extra treats. Oh ya - don't worry about the pink dinosaurs you are going to see while on your pain meds, they aren't real and they will go away when you get off the drugs, but for now you'll need to put up with them. Cheers and glad you're back home.

congratulations on a successful homecoming, Etta! You look tuckered out, Missy...you'd better take loooots of naps over the next 2 weeks (if for no other reason than to prepare you for all the energy you'll have as a tripawd!!!). Keep the pawesome news coming 🙂
