I am so, so sorry for your loss. As everyone has already said, it is an awful and terrible pain that is like no other. We are sending you lots of hugs, strength, and healing thoughts. Moby loves you more than words could ever express -- hold that close to your heart.

So very sorry for your loss. Always remember Moby knew how much he was loved. It is so hard to lose a furkid -  they take a piece of your heart.

I, like everyone else, am so heartbroken over this unanticipated loss of your sweet Moby.....but please remember, you did absolutely everything right, some things just sneak up and send us into a tailspin we can't pull out of. You are not alone here, we are here for any emotional support you may need or want. No matter how we lose our pups and kitties, it hurts all the same, deep to our souls and pain that seems to never end. We do understand.

Keeping you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers.....

oh my gosh, I don't know how to express how much your support has meant to me. I truly feel an outpouring of love and care.

Darn you Sally, I didn't think I could cry anymore. Thank for such a beautiful message, screenshot worked.

I will try to share more of his story in coping with loss, but it will be down the road a bit. My husband I need to come to grips with our loss first. As the way life goes, we also unexpectedly lost my Uncle. I like to think Moby was there to lead him to a reunion with his beloved dog Blackie, who passed away many years ago.

Thank you all again! I will stay in touch.

Your uncle too? Bless your heart.

Sally really did hit the nail on the head. Some days I can't sign in here because the losses can be so unbearable. Finding the right words is impossible, as it should be because Moby meant more to you than words can ever convey.

Yes, we all feel it. Every time a fur-baby is lost, it's as if they were one of our own. We are a virtual pack here and your heartbreak is shared amongst us all.

Not only does this pack provide support, we have shoulders here for you too.

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words and support we received these last few days. Sadly, Moby lost his battle today. We are not sure what happened, but he went into cardiac arrest last night. They got him back, but as of this morning he still wasn't breathing on his own. I called my husband, but before he made it home they called and told me his heart had stopped again. They were doing chest compressions, they were getting no response and  thought his brain had been to long without oxygen. I told them to let him go.

We were able to go there and see him and say our goodbyes. Very difficult. They think maybe a blood clot broke loose and went to his lungs. We take comfort in knowing that every decision we made, was made by thinking of what would be best for him. My poor other dog Maverick doesn't understand what is going on, but has been trying hard to comfort me.

Thank you all once again!

Bethie - No words can describe this...I hurt for you - and your family. I shall keep you in my thoughts - All the best, Kristy
