It is hard to believe it has already been a month since Murphy had his surgery! He's doing really well, there were a few hiccups in the road (he had to get an enema after amputation, he had to go back for extra stitches, and he is still dealing with a never-ended seroma ), but overall, he's almost back to his normal life. His stitches are out, and he's finished his first round of chemo. He was such a strong champion, and he experienced no side effects. He still had his appetite (when I made my dinner, he hopped over to me right away, begging for food.)
I just wanted to share more photos/videos of Murphy, most of which are from before surgery.
Murphy lived in a shelter for two years, and they made a really great video about him, which is how I got to know him, before I even came into the shelter.
Murphy, became a tripawd on August 17, 2015. Went to the rainbow bridge on July 5, 2016.
Well no wonder you fell in love with him . . . that's a great video and he is beautiful!!!!
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!! What a sweetheart! He is just precious!! I also clicked o to yiur links at the bottom of your sign off just so I could get more sugar!! He takes THE CUTEST photos. And honest to good ess, you can see the glint of pure joy in his eyes! He is just sooo happy to have his forever home with you! He is so loved!! He certainly isn't lacking for toys and stuffies either!
The shelter really did a great job of "marketing" .r. Murphy. Of course, he was already a Rock Star just waiting to be discovered!!
Thanks so much for sharing these treasured photos with us. Can't stop smiling!!
Hugs and love!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
