"They" don't!
But your question got us wondering why you apparently have to jump through the anti-spam hoop that we turned off long ago after other members put up a fuss about doing the math. It turns out you are not a registered member of this site, Jerry's Tripawds News blog where these forums reside.
We do notice you are a registered member of Rio's blog, so your monkeybusiness really has us stumped. Please let us know how you went about registering your "Zephyr" account via PM or in a new Tech Support topic so we can figure out what happened. If riosmom added you as a user to her blog from the Users tab in her dashboard, that would explain things, but we sure are curious.
In the meantime, we'll go ahead and make you an official Tripawds member so you don't hurt your monkeybrains any more with all that math.

Oh boy, just what we need, another Monkeybutt with access to a computer and just barely enough smarts to operate the thing!
Still, Z, maybe you and me could be buds, if you are more GIRL than MONKEYBUTT. Tripawd Grrrrl Power is best, but regular Grrrl Power is pretty good too. Maybe we could chase squirrels some time... When my toe is all better.
Now I gotta go back to bed. These pills make me......
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Hey Jackie,
I was gone all day yesterday so missed the first post- and am now just catching up. I only had to read the good part!! Not a bad way to do it- but I would much rather be around to send good thoughts. So bank these good thoughts for the next toe issue- what is it with her toes anyway?
I feel I was properly punished for missing the first post by that picture of the naked monkey pirate thing dog! I will need to leave the light on tonight and hope I don't have nightmares.
Really, really glad she is OK.

Thanks Karen, I will definitely bank those good thoughts. Yeah, I don't know what is with this girl and her toes lately. Last time it was the toenail on her second toe, this time it is her third toe. Going to have to look into steel-toed boots for her!
Hope you don't have naked MBVP nightmares!

Hey Zdog,
I had to approve both of your post. So methinks if you log out and login, you should be okay now. The first post a member makes has to be approved. And I think since you didn't log out for your second post, that could have happened. Try it and see if it works.
Hopefully that was the problem. Otherwise, admin will solve your problem!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thanks Comet! We're back and just now catching up.
