Good thoughts for Abby. Let that leg get some rest, little girl.

Thanks again everypawdy! And, OMD, that picture of a naked little MBVP is hysterical! Showed it to Abby. She laughed so hard now her sides her worse than her toe!
Thanks for giving us a good laugh!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh my gosh! I'm in the middle of work and couldn't stop thinking of her but I had to come and check the 'puter to see how she did at the vet.

I'm just reading this, so I didn't get the chance to send positive thoughts. I'll catch you next time. Yay for Abby! Darling, I can't believe you're only 45 lbs. In your pictures you seem like such a big dog. But you sure are beautiful!!
Monkeybutt, I'm going to give you the same advice our stylist gave my brother when we were small kids. If you see your mom coming at you with scissors, RUN!! Go to the neighbors and call for help! LMAO! Nah, just kidding, you look very....sofisticated. Is that possible?
Thanks again everyone for the good thoughts. I was so worried about her this morning! Those cancer voodoo dolls definitely worked! (Is there a way to change the post title now with an update that she's ok? Don't want to scare folks coming on and seeing the title, now that I know it's just her toe!)
I can't believe she is only 45 lbs either - she is super tall and skinny. Actually, she was 47 at the vet today. Their scale is a bit notoriously wonky, but I was excited to see her at 47 as we have been trying to get a wee bit more meat on her.
As for Abby, she has had a nice relaxing afternoon, with a long medicinal nap. We'll see how long I can keep her quiet... Also, she says, "Shave ALL the Monkeybutt dogs!!" That idea really perked her right up!
Thanks again for the support!

Loved the picture of Monkeybutt all shave-ed. That is a great look for the Monkeydog contingency. Absolutely thrilled beyond words that the Abster is okay.

Thanks Micki and Rio! We are too!
She is looking pretty pathetic at times. She mostly hops around the house OK, although I try to carry her when she will let me. But when she gets on a soft surface, like the dirt outside or her bed, that's when it's obvious her toe really hurts - she just kinda collapses. Gave her another tramadol and she is sleeping in her 'sexy' pose at the moment. She is too sexy - even for a sprained toe!
