they confirmed she is doing very well but she needs to start eating orherwise she will waste away.

now we are at the stage, where she is so weak, she no longer walks and we carry her to park and back.

her legs don't hold her up and she lies down as soon as u hit the grass in park.

she wouldn't pee last nite and this morning she managed, but she just has no energy even to turn and get up, we help her.

plus those sores appeared, so we saw (same hospital) different vet to see what the hell is going on plus what can we do re food, she can't go on like this.

at nite, she is moaning and grunting, each movement is a struggle for her.

i wasn't too impressed with the vet on Tuesday as when she checked the wounds she said she doesn't know what it could be, she said most likely skin infection.

obviously more pills as mentioned before, but molly not better, so we booked in person to see 3rd vet for tonight at 7pm.

i however have sent email to our original vet, the director, couple of photos from Tuesday and couple from this morning checking with him as he is so senior amd knows better, that this is what we are dealing with, how can we help molly further, we don't want to loose her, but still no food.

so he replied via email as he is on annual leave what he reckons, i will forward to u via email, dunno how to send screenshot, sorry.

so i cancelled app for tonight with the 3rd vet in person as we are too distressed tonight and we are contemplating where do we go from here.

FWIW, you did exactly what needed to be done to get rid of that pain ful leg and give her a chance at a pain free quaility life.  Everything  appeared to be osteo....and even with a different type of sarcoma, amputation  was the best option.

There are never any guarantees  one way or another with chemo.  Some   seem to bet extended time with it, some get less time than projected.   Some seem to get extended  time without it, some less.  So always a crap shoot when it comes to chemo.  And yes, fiances are a hurdle for many, if not most.  You have already gone above and beyond what some can do financially.

Did she ever have CT scans after the amp?  Again, most can't  afford those anyway, but just curious.

How I wish I had some answers for you always seems like more questions though.

Go back to still getting another opinion....even of it's only from a Vet who will try fluids and take a good look at all the meds she is taking to see of eating can improve.  She's on so many different meds for tummy, appetite, nausea,  antibiotic,  etc, just wondering  of any can be eliminated.

One thing you might want to do is hop over to Ask A Vet thread.  She's a member who is a Vet and volunteers here trying to help when she can.

I have to head to work now, but I'll be glad to help you so that when I get in tonight.  And of your like to send more photos od the lumps I'll be glad to ppst either here or on Vet thread.

(((((((((Hugs)))))))

Ohhh....just read your reply above while I was typing mine so I see you jave gone vack and forth to various Bets.  Sorry our responses are crossing over each other.

Appears they all say she is doing fine except for not eating and weak

Sooooooo.you are begging them to offer you some solutions and, at the very least help her feel better and to eliminate  a flare up of previous pancreatitis!  No wonder you are stressed!!!

3rd Vet at same clinic???  I know you cancelled, but just curious if Fresh eyes could help.

Just popping in real quick but I really think it's time to try a new practice with a different vet who can give a fresh perspective. I know the money is adding up and I'm so sorry for that. But it sounds like the root issue isn't being uncovered and without that, not even a cabinet full of meds can fix whatever is happening.

Get to your newest pet supply store for a calorie booster if you haven't tried that. Stinky meats and cat food may also help as long as you don't mix meds in the meals.

Keep us posted.

Gonna post some more adorable pictures of Molly, as well as what the Vet emailed Viola. Dont know if I'm way off bae, but also gonna copy my email replay back to her.  Just seems to me that "other options" need to be tried egarding appetite  and uncovering  the cause before throwing in the towel.

Oh....and this was my response in part to her email that accompanied  the pictures, etc.  Ao far, no one outside of thos clinic has seen Molly.  And I believe  this Vet who wrote thos response  hasn't  actually seen her either.....just pictures of the lumps.

Anyway.....this is what I wrote back:  if I'm way off base, let me know!

   "

I understand completely (and from first hand experience)  about not having the funds to do certain diagnostics, etc.   We do what we can do and everything we do is out of love.  And you clearly adore Molly!♥️  That's clear to all of is and your Vets too!

Additionally,  even IF the scans showed more spread it wouldn't  change the outcome anyway.  There really wouldn't  be any other treatment at that point so the expense  would basically be wasted.  And all those funds could go to a gazzillion  extra treats for  Molly!
So heck yeah, if she's eating treats that is a plus!!
I don't  mean to sound like a broken record and not trying to offer "false hope", but I do hope you can see your way to get another opinion asap (from separate  practice).  And again, to be receptive,  it just seems to me that fluids should be given as a first course of treatment  during all this  to try and peak her appetite.  And that has yet to be offered.  She wouldn't have to spend the night.  She could get a solid dose either IV or Sub Q at the Vet and then uou could take her home and do more.  It's actually quite easy.
You can also get some baby food or the Vitamin  paste Jerry mentioned and try to syringe that in the corner of her mouth inbetween her cheeks and gums

And if you can get that second opinion and have fresh eyes look at EVERYTHING  (past history with pancreatitis,  etc), try fluids, etc and nothing seems to help, then you can make a "decision".  But this way, you will have left no stone unturned amd ALL your concerns will have been heard.
Okay, I'm gonna a post all this on the site and see if any other feedback helps.

I am soooo sorry you are going through  all this and hoping with all my heart Molly can be helped.
