Our dog just finished her third of four carboplatin chemotherapy treatments. She also just had chest xrays and they were clear and she seems to be doing very well considering all she has been through (amputation and chemo after osteosarcoma diagnosis).
When we talked to the oncologist following her most recent treatment, the doctor told us we would have a decision to make following her next (and final) chemotherapy treatment. She told us we would need to decide whether to try metronomics , Palldia or to do nothing. I asked the oncologist what her recommendation would be and she said she didn't feel strongly enough about any of the options to recommend one over the other. She said that some patients have success with metronomics and Palladia but not all do.
What are your experiences with each of these options? I appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
