Can someone please tell me where I should buy the tumeric from and how to prepare it and the dosage??
This Forums discussion about curcumin / turmeric has info you may want to check out. But before you add it in, first check with your vet OK? You want to make sure whatever conventional medication you give Cooper isn't negatively affected by supplements or herbs. Your oncologist can guide you.
And I'll be the first to admit I'm skeptical about turmeric. It's all over the web as the hot new "miracle" herb for everything from pain relief to cancer cures, so I just encourage everyone to be smart and use discretion before adding it into a pet's diet.

We added Tumeric into Aspen's food after we got his OSA diagnosis. We get this stuff: Tumeric Boost.
Aspen is 80lbs and he gets 1 teaspoon of the powder with every meal(breakfast & dinner). My husband found that dosage online - I'll have to ask him where he got it. We did start him off with a smaller dosage and worked up to the 1tsp so it didn't upset his tummy. We did talk to our vet about it and she said to go for it. Andy (My husband) and I have joked that if Aspen does keep on being healthy, we'll never know what the magic item was (Tumeric, Bixbi Immunity, Flaxseed, THCa/CBD Oil).... Or maybe it really is just magic. 🙂
Good luck and keep us posted!
