Emily used to purposely run into the side of the doorways to try to break the collar. By the time she got it off it was duck taped all over!
I'm sorry that Kassee had so many complications but it sounds like she is on her way to mending. Keep us posted. Also, since Emily now has hip dysplasia I would suggest you start her on glucosamine right away.

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
