Hi Jerry, my Mom wanted me to ask you something. Yesterday at the open house they had at my vet's place she asked Dr. Golden if she had to stop giving me my supplements before the chemo treatment just to make sure they would not counteract each other or maybe make me sick.

She showed him the long list of good things she is giving me and he was fine with everything until he got to the K-9 Immunity and the K-9 Transfer. He really could not tell her whether to stop them or not as he was not familiar with them.

He wanted to know if there has been any research done and the only thing he was sort of adamant about is that he sometimes feels that there are so many things out there to make sure people buy it...it makes you feel good at the beginning but with time it doesn't work any more.

He didn't say this would be the case with K-9 as he had no information about it. What does your vet think? My mom is going to print some additional information for him and take it with us next Monday but right now I am feeling sooo good and having lots of energy. I know that right now you are on chemo and also taking the supplements, what are your and your pawrents thoughts about this? Thanks, Kellie

I do take the K9 immunity supplement along with my chemotherapy treatments. And that is at the recommendation of my vet. I'm on Cytoxan, a low-dose chemo pill. But as far as I know they are also doing the clinical trials for IV treatments.

Regarding research, well that's what the trials are all about. My people record all the details of what I get whenever thy give me all my pills. Whether any data has been compiled yet, I don't know.

However, the manufacturer – Aloha Medicinals – does have some great information for the veterinarian regarding K9 Immunity on their website. They also have a dog cancer hotline. I Bet they'll have better answers for you.

Thanks Jerry, I will let my mom know to go ahead and check Aloha's site and get some additional information so when we meet with Dr. Golden on Monday we can show it to him.
