Crud start a new post. I was going to freak out after you said in the chat that she was getting to do it. That is what I get for just reading the title LOL

Way to go, Jilly Bean! We all knew you'd do it! YEY!
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
I'm with Michelle! I broke a perfectly good chair over a perfectly good table!
Glad to hear that Jill is a-ok and going strong!

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Way to go Jill! Great news
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Well, Jill did it again and FORGOT TO STUDY FOR HER BLOOD TEST! Silly Jilly. Obviously it's the Carbo that's doing it, since her WBC's don't drop after the Doxy. Neutrophils did not drop nearly as low this time (last time they dropped to 320, this time to 1168, normal is 2500-12,000). They lowered her carbo dose this time as well since it affected her so much last time, but her WBC and Neutrophils still dropped.
Her fourth (and final!) chemo was scheduled for tomorrow morning and the blood was drawn Tuesday night, so they've told me I can still bring her in tomorrow morning and see if the numbers have gone up to levels that are ok for chemo (they said theres a 50/50 chance they may have. I have the day off from work already scheduled so I figure I might as well.
I'm not nearly as freaked out this time, as this has already happened once (and her count dropped much more severely) and the onco keeps assuring me that this means ITS WORKING. I'm just more annoyed that I had a celebration party planned for tomorrow night to celebrate the end of chemo
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Sorry Jill, somehow I didn't see our post til just now. My guess is also, not of only did she notf wear the cape but I think she's waiting for her bunny ears too
Hope you feel all the love coming through for your and Jill....I'm serious....everyone is sooooo here for our two-----could it be because you're two special souls??? Yep, think so!
My info has tried to prepare me too that just because one session goes well it doesn't mean the next one will-----and that's normal!! Normal? Easy for them to say!
That's gonna be one heck of a celebration party!! We'll all be their dancing on the table with you!
Holding you and Jill in our "lucky" part of our hearts! Sally and Happy Hannah (who likes cats by the way)
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
We're sorry that Jill's a WBC flunkie this week but it's so nice to see that you're taking it in stride!

That's it...Jill's grounded til she studies harder! I'm glad you're feeling better about it this time. To hear the onco say "IT'S WORKING" is pretty awesome. Hey, tomorrow is Friday, the weekend kick-off, so I think you can still have a glass of wine...or 2....or 3....

Bummer, Jill & Erica. I know she'll make the next one! It's just a pain to get knocked off schedule, though. Grrrrr.

Rats.
I understand that jellybeans have magical powers... Especially for Jillybeans... So with that little change in diet over the holiday I'm sure she'll be ready soon! (the SweetTart ones are particularly magical, so buy extras of those!!)
Careful, though, kitties like to eat bunnies!
Jill is just holding back so she doesn't make any of the doggie tripawds look bad. Good thoughts coming your way for a better test result this morning.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks all! I was gonna send a ringer in to take the test this morning and bring Jack. I figured when they looked at me funny when I pulled mister fatty outta the case is just say "well....you did say there would be SOME side effects".
