Oh Jill.  You little expensive (but oh so worth it) mystery.

Yes....we just can't let a few months go by without a scare now can we?  We have SOLVED the peeing on my bed problem.  That is no more.  And I promised her when we left the vet last time that she wouldnt have to go back if she stopped (and she did!).......but it seems she just wants to keep visiting her friend Dr. Tan.

For the past couple of nights, Jill has been HACKING all night, I mean seriously hacking all night.  She has done this before.  But its usually just a hacking fit once and then it stops.  This had happened two nights in a row now and for extended periods of time.  Me no likey.  I let it go after the first night, but after the second night, panic set in.

Off we went to Dr. Tan.  She saw us in the waiting room and I just couldnt help but laugh and say "I think she just likes coming to see you every couple of weeks."  In a way, I was glad what happened next did, because it confirmed that I am NOT crazy.  Dr Tan was examining her and she was just hacking away.  I was glad Dr. Tan got to see it for herself, but on the other hand, panic REALLY started to set in.  Dr. Tan thought her lungs sounded great, but something was definitely bothering her when she touched near her throat, so she was going to try to get her neck area included on the x-ray.

So off her for X-Rays she went.  I felt myself having the beginning of a near anxiety attack right then while I was alone in that room waiting.  And guess what..........PERFECTLY CLEAN.  clapclapclap

Dr. Tan found nothing wrong with her.  Gave her an antibiotic IN CASE she has some kind of infection (but she thinks not)....I dont think my apartment is dry, because I have a dehumidifier.

She sent the film to Jill's oncologist, who also agrees - chest films and neck and throat, all look great.  So.....apparently, Jill can cough on demand when she wants a trip to the vet.  It's a really good thing I love this kitty so so so very much.......:D

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. I know!

Jill's secretly smoking cigarettes when you're at work. Lucy-fer really got her stressed out so she picked up that nasty habit and now it shows!

Just kidding. I'm glad everything is good. Jill, NO MORE SCARING US!!!

xoxo

Ugh Jill!  But I'm glad the xrays were all good and you can breathe easier now.

Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury.  Her amp was on 10/1/12.  She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera.  We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Oh Jill, quit scaring your momma like that! :)  I'm so very happy the xrays were clear!

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13.  Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14.  She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self.  Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

JIIIIIIIILL!! For pete's sake, just have your mom set up a play date at your aartment with Dr. Tan!!! Done! No more of this hacking!

Hmmmmmm......I like Jerry's insigh into Lucy-fer (sorry Lucy, I'm sure you're a sweet kitty t your own home) casing all this delayed reaction. Of course, it could be that Miss Jilly Bean was "hacked off" because we were spending time celebrating Jack's birthday and seemingly ignoring her! You better go make that girl a cake roght now and take pictures! YAY! Jill pictures!

Is the humidifie in the bedroom? If elesewhere, it could be that it's not realy reacing her if this is oly happening at night. I'm sure her little kitty throat is irritated now anyway because of the coughing. Wonder if you could get her to suck down a little ho eylllseriously...that soothes sore throats if she'll take it.

REALLY glad everything checked out. It's pure h..e.. double l..l.. when you see a potential "sympton"...a lot easier to Be More Dog , or cat, when evdrybody's sympton free!

CELEBRATING WITH YOU PEPPER!!!!!

OMG Jill!!!! You had me stressed out here!!! Glad to hear it's nothing. Shelby was sneezing today and I freaked out but then I realized, so am I. Allergies! :-) And Shelby still licks her nose non-stop as sort of an OCD thing (and her vets see nothing wrong w/that). Glad that Jill is doing well and still our fantastic fighter kitty!

Hugs galore!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

JILL stop scaring us.  I mean your mom & us.  This is silly.  Just because you want x-rays  🙂   I am so glad that everything turned out ok.  I couldn't breathe until I read that they were all clear.  Thank you God.  You haven't changed litter or anything??

Jill we need a picture of you now please
