Wanted to share....I wholeheartedly agree with this article. I was terrified to put Jill through Chemo and wouldn't have believed they handle chemo so well if I hadn't seen it with my very own eyes.
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. That was great Erica! That needs to be kept "so mewhere in trioawd computer land" with access for everyone who's "lurking" or must joinig. I guess the thread title itself is enough. If someone here searches Chemo" I guess ths would show up_
I really, really like this article...straight forward, explained simply and a nice dose of caring and compassion thrown in!
Thanks!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That was great and written in language that the average person can understand. Thanks for sharing Erica.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
I waited till I had a sec to read this and it was well worth the wait. Dr. Intile is a fantastic communicator and really helps take the scariness out of chemo with this post. Thanks for sharing.w
