Good Morning,
Remy's mom here. I know you can all relate to this. Spending hours researching cancer blogs, books, websites, etc., about doing all I can to keep our Remy alive and feeling good for as long as we can. Amputation done 2 weeks ago. We had chest x-rays done and saw no mets yet, or at least none that showed so we are keeping our mind there.
I have read the book by Dr. Dressler and researched Dr. Charles Loop's holistic approach. Changed Remy's food to Halo for now but that may not be the best, or what he truly needs. I am thinking about doing the phone consult with Dr. Loop (North Carolina). Has anyone done that? I would just love to have a starting point and feel overwhelmed by all the info and need to do something!!
Please share with me if you have a moment.
Thanks,
Mummers (Lynn)

Thanks Rene. It is hard because I want to help Remy right now, but I don't want to get ahead of myself and buy supplements and foods then find out Dr. Loops has different ideas. I am scheduled to speak with him this Tuesday at 10:30 AM. I will post back about his suggestions for Remy.
YAAAAAAAY FOR GOOD XRAYS!!!!! You are such a good advocate for Remy and doing a good job of researching your options.
Trying to decide the best plan can make your head spin, that for sure! I think in part, sometimes you just have to go with your gut....what just feels right. Another strategy some use is to decide on three, four or maybe five alternatives....not so many that all you are doing is "pilling your dog".
I did a phone consult with Dr Loops many, many years ago. I couldn't even begin to tell you what his recommendatii ons were, or, quite frankly, if they were effective. I can tell you that I at least felt like I was "doing something that just may have good results ".
Keep us posted and sending best wishes to you and sweet Remy❤
