Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Go for it, Ty. Soon you will be begging for ice cubes right at the fridge.
And kudos to your pawesome Mom for being such a great advocate for you!
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
He looks great!!!! Hang in there buddy,..... we're all pulling for you!
Alison and Shelby
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Awwww! Ty is is really nice to see you, what a difference a few days and lots of love make! Keep it up buddy, we're cheering for you!

~ Katy & Jackson
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
He crashed a bit this evening. Less of an appetite. Did eat some though. Seems like back end is so stiff so slow to walk, not hopping temp still normal though. I finally broke down and used half a Rimadyl. So confused. His stomach is so messed up from all the meds. He has diareah and keeps burping. Thinking about trying my Zantac. It works a lot better for me than Pepcid. I mean trying it for Ty. I bought this wonderful thing called a pill gun you just shoot the pill into the back of the mouth. Got it at Petsmart for $3.99. He got that he won't take them in anything. He is so done with cheese. Hopefully we will see the sparkle back tomorrow in AM. Praying! He is snoring away as I write this.

Glad he's resting well tonight. I know he's sooooo glad to be home.
Dogs are so smart when it comes to NOT takng pills. He's probably partially turned off to all food' just because he's afraid there's a pill in it!!
Is it possible hehas a inched nerve...or perhaps a disc problem i his back. This could be something completely separate from the fever, etc.
Did they xray his spine? I kow he needs to get stronger first, but I would have an orthopedic surgeon or a physical therapist check him over as soon as you can.
Ty's such a sweetheart! I wish his tumny wasn't so darn sensitive. You REALLY know your boy and you've been saying all along the meds were messing with his tummy.
He IS eating some...and that's still an improvement. It does seem he's showing progress, slowly, but surely.
Now that you have the pill gun, maybe he won't equate food withpills and will eat betterz! Paws crossed over herez,
Sending hugs and healing energy. Come on Ty!! We are all pulling for you!!
