Oh, Courtney, I am so devastated for you. I have been worried all day about the "silence".
You did your best for your darling girl and she knew you loved her. Wishing you comfort in the tenderness of memory and I am wishing beautiful Zayda the most wonderful dreams. Night, night sweetheart...

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
OMG I am so so so so sorry to hear that Zayda didn't make it through surgery. You'd come so far. But as you said she went on her own time. I know how much you will miss her and how your heart is breaking. Please know that she knew you were there for her til the very end. MUCH hugs to you as you grieve this terrible loss.
Nooooo, that is awful! I'm very, very sorry Courtney. That kind of shock is just unthinkable, and my heart goes out to you and your pack.
You gave Zayda the best life, one that every dog dreams of. She is free, she is a puppy again. May her beautiful spirit surround you with love now and always. When you feel stronger, we'd love to reminisce about her with you.
Many, many hugs are coming your way.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. There is not much that can be said. You provided her with every opportunity and lots of love.

Just seeing this now. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Sweet Zayda! You did everything you possibly could to help her and now she is free from pain, but your heart is breaking, and our hearts with you.
Sending love and hugs. I am so, so sorry.
