Hi everyone!
I just freaked out again....when chef is breathing it sounds as if he has a cold (as if his nose is full). To me that sounds like the lungs are full kinda thing!
Does any of you guys have experience with these kind of things? I don't even know if a dog can have a cold... He does eat normal, drinks normal, plays, wants to go for walks and is happy.
Sometimes he doesnt breath at once... is will sound like sniff.. sniff.. breath than exhale, like he pauses two times before real breathing.
Thanks a lot!

OKAY! Chef is acring fine and clearly feels great...so all that is really good

opps! Hit reply!
Anyway, it sounds like it could be some sort of allergy.
Also, there's so eting called "inverted sneezing", which sounds like that "sniff...sniff......then exhale" could be........okay....comput. freezing

Okay...third time is a charm!
I'm sure you'll get a vet to listen to him as he could alsom just have a respitory infection...a fairly common thing. I kow to tell you not to worry is crazy! But realy, I don't think you have anything t worry avout. He may even have some debris in that precious mug of his!
Other than the "sounds", his breathing seems normal? Not real labored, chest heaving, struggling to get air?
WHATEVER itis, we'll get this taken care of and move right along to enjoying the bliss of being with Chef!!
Sending you lots of hugs, along with your instructions.....yeah, you know what they are.....B R E A T H E........B R E A T H E...........

Iam just scared i guess because the xrays are coming up the 10th of februari... Hearing all crazy stuff.
I just spoke to Lori and showed her the pics of his tumor before operation and than noticed how good he is doing right now comparing to than!!
So probably worrying about nothing....
Yes, dogs can get colds but if he is otherwise acting normal it's probably nothing to panic about. Is he eating, drinking and eliminating as usual? Any discharge from the eyes or nose?

Awww I hate those freak-out moments! I hope everything is OK. The first time one of my dogs did the "reverse sneeze" thing I was sure that they were dying from an asthma attack or something. Turns out, it was just an irritant at the back of the nose that makes them do that. Keep us posted!

Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog
Well if everything seems normal then go with it! Yay!
