Hi Amy and Libby, Sally and happy Hannah, Luanne and Shooter and everybody, too many to mention!

Think our nights on the blow up mattress are over. Yasmin has had enough of the lovely new memory foam bed (bought for her recovery) in the front room. She ran up the stairs earlier and jumped up on our/her bed! She has refused to move, apart from when we took her out for a pee earlier. she got down the stairs as easily as she went up! She is presently snoring away quite happily! We have tv in our bedroom, so looks like the rest of her recovery will be on her usual bed. Think I should invest in a super dog t-shirt and cape!

She never ceases to amaze us!

Question: Can I post photos on this thread or do I need to start a blog? Pictures speak so much louder than words and I am so proud I want to share Yasmin's recovery with all of you. big-grin

Oh by! Looks like I'm the first to see your question avout posting pics! And I can answer that!!!!

Yes! You can post here and/or a blog!
Wome do both.

The reason I'm tickled pink to answer this "techno-comuter" questin is because there is NO ONE on this siite...EVER...who knows less aout this stuff than I do!! And trust me, that is not an award anyone wants bestowed on them!

And I can FINALY answer a comutwr question!!...... Now, how to do it?? Nooooo idea!
(Actually, if you put it on photobucket or YouTube, I can sorta' do that now----with hours of help from this site.......and I could maybe...sorta....kinda.....help you there....maybe!)

I'm just thrilled to hear this update on Yasmin! You must be right....perhaps her pain was so bad before, that the pain from a major surgery and amputation is nothing more than a needle prick!

I k ow you're trying to monitor her activity level and that still is very important. Don't want Ms. High Energy Yasmin pulling any stitches out or over-doing her muscles in the "other" legs too quicky! But I know you've got that handled

Yasmin, you've got YOUR bed back!! Good girlclapclap

Can't wait to see the pictures!

Enjoy a great night's sleep everyoe!

Clapping with joy over here!!clapclap

Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Sounds like Yasmin is doing great!!  She must feel soooo much better now with that bum leg gone.

Here are instructions for adding photos to posts.  The pictures need to be hosted somewhere on line.  A blog is a great way to do it but you don't have to if you use photobucket or another on line hosting site.

And if I may put my moderator hat on for a moment- you might consider starting a new topic since Yasmin is in recovery now.   '...Emotional right now!...' is still applicable, but all happy now, right? It does make it a little easier for members to follow your progress, but if you want to stay here that is OK too.

I hope Yasmin continues her wonderful recovery, what a warrior princess!!
