Hooray for Fancy! And let me be the first to say, "Now I know why they call you Hoss." Don't take that the wrong way, it is a compliment. . No doubt that Fancy is going to want to, and should go back to hunting. She is not even going to remember that she once had four legs. And not that anyone would wish three legs on their dogs, but seriously your hunting buddies are going to all be amazed with her abilities. You will be able to bask in the glow of that adulation. I like to call it "coolness by proxy."
Keep us posted and kiss Fancy on the nosey for me and Mattie.

Thanks glaucomyssabrinus no offense taken. My fancyPants is doing good today. She spent 2 hours in my lap asleep and sleepn good. her incision looks good very little drainage at all. I feel so tired and ive been sleepn ok. Its just the whole mental stress of it all.
Kisses given to Fancy for you guyz...
Glad you guys are having a good day! And getting plenty of rest. I am so thankful she had the surgery and is getting the infection under control. That is just too scarey.

Thanks to all you fine people for being concerned about her. I know it would make her happy to know that you are. It makes me feel better to get the support and it helps me be positive. Thanks a million times over. I will be sure to tell her that there are many folks concerned. I will keep you all posted..

That's a great picture! You're a Okie boy if I've ever seen one! I love it!!!!
I'm so thankful to hear how well she is doing. Super Kudos to dad!
You should start a blog! Don't ask me how because I don't have one. But Fancy and you have some stories to tell!

P.S. Gayle I see some resemblance! Who knows, you may have been pedigreed up the wazoo but since you weren't carrying your papers while wandering the backwoods of TX, we'll never know!

Hey Hoss,
This might be the hardest time to stay positive- when you get so tired. You've already been through one of the roughest parts- twice!! Remember that there can still be some ups and downs the first two weeks after surgery, so don't get discouraged.
But really... I think Fancy has had her share of downs already- she is definitely due some ups!!

Ok Ive got to do this fast dont want dad to catch me up and doing stuff. He told me to be still and rest..Hes a great Master, he loves me so much. I got on the tripawed website dad told me about to look around and I saw the thread about Coop---I stopped and gave That Big Handsome Coop a pep or PUP talk ha ha. I hope he gets better soon.
I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been crossing your paws in pwrayer for me. I feel better and everyday that goes by I just want to play and run. I know that its coming soon enough. I know that dad feels better everytime he gets off the computer he tells me that alot of people are pulling for me. He said that it helps him too. I can tell because he is so positive when he talks to me. He even told me "You will hunt again. If you want to" Im so excited that could come true. Im just glad to be here to be honest.
I dont have time to post on everybodys thread so here is a BIG SHOUT OUT! to all you pups that need a lift. I hope that the least you get in life is all you hope for.

Fancy Pants is just going to get too big for her pants in no time. She looks great - even with the cone of shame . You have my kitchen tile. If Fancy stays in the house much she may need some help navigating on the tile. Don't let Trouble see her with a computer screen on the floor, I make Trouble sit on the bed to use my laptop!

Fancypants! Look at you all bright eyed and beautiful with your new necklace! You've been on the computer looking at the fashion styles, haven't you!? (I get my latest fashion ideas there! ) Big necklaces are in this season! It's need more bling, though! Tell pops to get you some sticky rhinestone action on that necklace! But way to go on blue, it goes well with your coloring!
I'm so glad to hear you are doing better!
Yep, I'm with hugapitbull, you are going to have to tell pops to get you some rugs during his weekly pilgrimage to Walmart! Slip sliding on tile is no fun! My mommy figured it out after about 5 years with me. But I had to slide on my face a gazillion times and break some teeth before she learned!
Keep gettin' better Fancy "P"!

I'm a pink polka dot gal myself (ignore my monkeybutt brother in the picture - he's the monkeybutt blur):

Fancy is looking great! Glad to see her looking so alert and bright eyed.
I agree with hugapitbull and cometdog, you will want to get some rugs for your beauty so she does not slip and hurt that gorgeous face or hurt herself anywhere else!
She also may need a ruff wear harness . It is helpful when she is getting in and out of the car, when climbing stairs or just areas where she will need a bit of assistance. We found it to be very helpful with our Honey.
Thrilled to see one of our champions doing well.
Cheers to you and Fancy!

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
We're glad to hear Fancy's on the mend! We'll keep all fingers and paws in our house crossed for you, Fancy! Make sure to get plenty of hugs and plenty of treats - our pawrents are big softies when we're recovering. At least that's what I learned in my house anyway...
