Oh sweet Eva, I'm glad the vet visit was almost perfect! Well hopefully you'll get to take the muzzle off soon so we can see your hoppy face again! Be a good girl and it'll be over before you know it!

OMG - I've never seen a muzzle like that! She looks like Hannibal Lector!!! Poor baby! Hope she's better soon!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
These pictures just tickle m funny bones! She looks so comfy and so relaxed! I get drowsy just looking at them.
These photos ought ro be turned ito blow-up pics and hang right above verybody's bed! By focusing on these, surely one could drift off into slumber land easily!
Actualy, you may be to smething with that muzzle. I would think a dog would tolerate that better than the cone.
Eva, you are spectacular and so isFanta!!
Smooches to all!

Yay - Eva can now manage the stairs both ways, with help! She went up under her own steam for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend, and then today with me. The sun was shining, and he was at work, so we decided we'd give it a go. She's fine down the stairs, with a hand on her harness, and once I'd worked out which side she wanted me to stand on, and waved a few treats around, she was just as good up the stairs.
And in between we had a lovely hop in the sunshine!
Good job Eva! I bet as she continues to build strenght and confidence she will get better on the stairs, and soon will be back to 'normal'.
Great milestone! I hope the treats were commensurate with the accomplishment.

AWESOME! Shelby is getting more confident on the stairs too! Which is a huge help to my back since a sling isn't much of an option for her.
She's looking great!!! YAY!

Such a stunner in her pretty blue jacket! She's so Beautiful and just oozes with gentleness!
And a great big YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY for going up and down stairs Milestone indeed! And so very early on too!
Heck! My sweet chunkof a girl can go down stairs just fine, but it wasn't 'til her seven monththat she actually climed UP the stairs! That was only because there was a kittyon the porch trying to get her food! She really prefers the ramp though, the stairs just require too much strength from her rear leg.
Okay! Eva roaches...she stands...she does stairs.......s there a marathon in tne works?
CONGRATULATIONS SWEET EVA!!
