Eva's had two days at home with my OH while I've had to go to work! She's continuing to do well - less panting and squeaking, and the bruising is starting to fade. The wound also hasn't leaked at all, which I am amazed at - I keep expecting it to after reading everybody else's experiences!
My mum sent them some treats yesterday, and this is Eva licking her lips after eating one!
I LOVE these phots and LOVE Eva!! She really knows how to stretch out and be co fy!

Eva's bruising is fading and she seems to be doing well. Still has a few periods of panting, and a few squeals, which I wonder are phantom limb pains. Will ask the vet when we go in to have stitches out.
She was quite enthusiastic on her hop down the road this morning, and wanted to go a little further than we've gone previously. We only let her go on a little way, as we don't want to have to carry her all the way back. It's bad enough carrying her up the stairs!
One day I will get a picture of her standing up (honestly, greyhounds do stand up, sometimes ) but here is one of her not watching telly last night!
She looks like she's healing great!!! So happy for you both. shelby is the same - she wants to keep going and going and going!!!
What a darling face though. I do want to give her lots of snuggles and kisses!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Soooooooo sweet, so very, very sweet!
Yeah, she's akng sure that telky is not in her line of visuin She looks so comfy though.
Happy Hannah did wining and panting off and on, as well as some restless pacing into week three. It does stop though, realy!
Okay folks, get ready The next thread started by Eva will showhow Greyhounds "do the standing position"!
Good job sweet Eva! Keep on keepin' on!

Wow that is one good looking incision!
I love the way Greys like to lounge around. They are the mellowest pups!
