Pochy - I moved your post to a topic of its own. I was afraid it would get overlooked imbedded in the topic where you posted.
Welcome to you and Diamond! My Trouble, who had osteosarcoma was a pittie. We are quite smitten with the breed.
I would get Diamond back to the vet for an evaluation. Most amputees are up and about before now, I would want to confirm there isn't something else going on. 79 pounds is pretty large, lean is good for a tripawd. Keeping them lean is key to keeping them healthy and mobile. Trouble was 69 pounds when she had surgery, but we took her down to 55-56 pounds as a maintenance weight.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Hi Pochy,
We talked to you in the chat the other night and are sorry to hear things haven't improved. As hugapitbull suggested, please get her to a vet as soon as you can, she should be more mobile by now. Not exactly able to go on long walks or run, but just able to stand on her own and go outside to go potty. Please take her to the clinic and then let us know what happens OK?
(hugapitbull, thank you for moving the topic).

I hope that the vet was able to help and that Diamond is getting better.
Spencer had his surgery on 8/24. Before surgery he was 84.8 lbs, not sure of his weight after surgery. By 8/27 he was getting around on his own with no help from the sling that I used to help him the first few days. Spencer is my only experience with this type of thing; but from reading on here it seems normal for them to be up and around at least a little pretty quickly, so I'd definitely want Diamond seen by a vet. hugs to you guys.
Jac and Angel Spencer. Spencer was 5.25 years old. He fought a grade 3 fibrosarcoma, started on his shoulder. Left front leg amputated in August 2011. 15 weeks of chemo finished 12/22/11 (mytox and adria). Lung mets found on x-rays 12/28/11. Started carboplatin 1/6/12. Went to Heaven on 2/27/12. I miss him like crazy every day. See his blog here: http://spencer.tripawds.com/
Welcome Diamond and family,
I'm sorry to hear that Diamond isn't doing well on getting around. Have you consulted with your vet just to ensure there isn't any problems with the back knees or hips?
Do you have a rehab center locally in which you could get some hydrotherapy (walking on a treadmill in the water). Strengthening those legs in water does wonders! Of course consult with your vet!
Keep us updated!
Wishing you all the best for a better recovery!

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
