Hi.  Has anyone out there dealt with scar tissue around the incision site?  Griffin has a silver dollar sized patch of skin stuck to scar tissue that is pulled taut when he sits, creating an odd looking crease in his skin and which I can't imagine feels good.  His surgeon said the scar tissue should soften with time, but I'm trying to break it up with firm massage (following guidelines for human scar tissue minus the cream).  I'd appreciate any other ideas/tips that others might have.  Thanks!  ~ Stacy

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
