As of 4:00 pm Daisy's temp is back to normal! We went to visit and she looked so much better. They've been giving her iv Baytril and fluids. She ate a whole can of food while we were there. We took her out to pee and she even pooed a little! The worst part was that she was sure we had come to bring her home, but she has to stay at least one more night.
It's so good to see her moving in the right direction! Her eyes looked so much more happy and peaceful. Thank you for your prayers and well-wishes!

YESSSSS!!!!!
We're anxiously awaiting her return home. What awesome news!
Be sure to ask her vet what you should look out for, just for your own peace of mind. Good luck!

Great news about Daisy! Must be a huge relief! We're so happy for you.
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Great news, so happy to read that Daisy is improving! Yay!

She's home but see my new post titled "wound care" for how we're doing. (Basically great except I'm trying to figure out the best way to care for the wound.)
