Sadie has her last Chemotherapy treatment tomorrow (whoohoo!!) We also decided to take a chest x-ray. We passed on it last month because we didn't think the results would affect treatment. However, we decided we wanted to know all of our options, and we really couldn't make the most informed decisions without having the most information. Sooooo, please cross your fingers and paws that the x-rays are negative (although I already told Sadie that they are)
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

We waited until Trouble's last chemo to do x-rays as well. I remember the apprehension like it were yesterday. Definitely crossing fingers and paws in our house for Sadie and sending calming thoughts for you.
Kick cancer butt, Sadie!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Good luck tomorrow! Will be keeping our paws crossed for you! The aniticipation of waiting for the results of the chest x-rays can be so stressful. Luckily it doesn't take long to get the results. We'll be sending lots of good thoughts your way...
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Good luck, Sadie!
Everything we can cross is crossed for you!

You got this one Sadie! But we'll cross our paws and fingers for you anyway!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com
It will be a ALL paws, fingers and toes crossed day! Adding a bunch of pawsitive thoughts, too!
Keep us posted!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Wow, you guys are great! Thanks to all your pawsitive thoughts, and Sadie's incredible "Sadieness", we're happy to report a clear chest x-ray!!! Dr. Macy said she looks really good, and unless we notice any problems like weight loss, we will follow up in 3 months. Let's all celebrate!
Hugs and sloppy Sadie kisses to all,
Lisa and Sadie
