Hi everyone,
Cotton is still doing awesome. He tries to play with our littler dog, Radar, now, but we have to stop him cause vet said to rest. Warm compresses are helping, his surgery site is starting to slim down (for lack of better words) We have noticed he shivers more now than he ever has. So we put a blanket or towel over him at night or when we are relaxing in the living room.
So glad Cotton is doing well and the seroma is getting better. He must be feeling much better if he is already wanting to play.
You look so cozy all snuggled up under your blankie.

Awwwww, Happy Hannah and I want to come over and snuggle with hi !! Wo derfully sweet photo!
So glad ne's doi g well a d that rotten ole' sero a is "slimming down"! They shave soooooo much of their fur off when they do the surgery, that may be
why he's shivering. Is he still on s e pain meds? It could be that the shiveri gs a sign of a little discomfort?...Maybe? Although as active as he ks, I doubt it!
Thanks for the poto and the W DERFL update! Makes us all smile!! AND, it only gets better and better!
Smuggling hugs to all!

Awww Cotton, sounds like you're doing great. I agree with the doc, slow down, there's plenty of good times ahead after you recuperate!

Its hard when we have to limit their activites.. especailly when they show us that they are coping so well!! But... it's only for a little while longer!!! Good to hear that cotton is adjusting well.. I used to put a sweater on Franklin because he tended to shiver a bit more than usual too. But then again.. he was missing a huge chunk of his hair area!!!
Nothing wrong with snuggles under a blanket... any time of day!!!!
Chritine.... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
