I promised her she would see the ocean before the day. Even though it was a short trip she was happy and when a kid come up and threw a tennis ball for her it made her day. Unfortunately, i was unable to capture that moment. My other Lab Jack was in overload. The dog beach was packed and he was excited.

My heart is so full of love for Coco....and her hoomans. Have quite a few hapoy tears flowing over here knowing how muvh this day meant to her and to you1♥️

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Update: Coco had her 3rd recheck and unfortunately the tumor has grown from orginally 4.5cm to 4.8cm and now 5.5 cm. On the positive side her blood work is relatively normal and nothing really concerning at this point and her liver values were just slightly elevated compared to last visit 218 to 230ish and that is with discontinuing Demararin. Her Doc said she really didn't think she would last this long and who knows how much longer she has. So we both agree that we think the chemo and the tramatinib may be slowing it down some. I have decided to go another month on the trial drug. She is going on 9 months post op. Hopefully she continues to be happy for some more quality months. Thank you for all the kind words and support.
Coco is proof why we say every dog is different and cannot be pigeonholed into "one size fits all" statistic and prognosis.
So glad Coco didn't pay any attention to the Vet's comment about not thinking she would make it this long. We loooove it when dogs professionals Vet's "wrong" about things like this
There truly is therapeutic value in giving Coco so many happy moments that support her continued quality and overall well being. Not sure how far away the beach is, but more visits may ve in store.
The photo of her looking soooo content as she headed home with her head out the window catching all the scents in the wind.
Keep in keeping on Coco!! We' cheering for you!!!👏👏👏👏👏

Ugh I'm sorry the tumor is not shrinking. But yeah it does sound like the meds are doing something to keep it from being really bad, so I think your idea to keep at it one more month is a good one.
Coco is such a rock star. I'm happy that she is otherwise being her happy self! Hope she has more beach time coming up
