Hi Alex, I'm sorry that there is nothing we can do to protect you from the pain I know you must be feeling.
I'm glad to hear that Clyde's poops have been good. That is reassuring. And, having Clyde train you into spoon feeding him is priceless. I took great pleasure in the very simple things of watching Magnum eat, feeding her food. It is both heart breaking and yet so incredibly bonding.
Keep savouring every precious moment with him. There will be time enough later for tears. For now "Be More Dog ".
Hugs
Karen, Ruby and Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
We just started Palladia and Lomenstein (Spelling) in a drug trial at our University. they told us to continue with all supplements in which we have and have not had any problems yet (knock on wood)
Our dog was dx'd in May with Osteosarcoma, we did leg amp and 6 rounds of chemo which he breezed through.
He went in for his 3 month check last week and they found a lung met..
He is currently on Arteminisin, Artemix every other week, transfer factor, Probiotics, some herbal liver med, vit e, vit d,
K-9 Immunity , and raw food with blended green leafy veggies.
We will continue with this unless he starts getting to sick and then stop and figure out our next move.
Good luck to you!
Huntersdad, thanks for joining us. Please consider starting a new topic so your story won't get lost in this discussion.
We're so sorry that the news wasn't good, but we hope that the nasty met will behave itself. Our paws are crossed for your pack! Keep us posted.

Just read the post. I really hope things are going to get better. Cancer is such a bastard. I wish something was created to definitely kick it behind hard.
