Hi everyone. Tshuvah's doing a little better; her kidney values came down as of this morning, although still in high-normal or just over. We're going to sub-Q her tonight and tomorrow night and hope her values are in the normal range. She seems to be feeling better; we even took her on a short hike up a mountain trail today and she LOVED it. I wish y'all could have seen our little tripawd running up the rocky trail like she'd never had 4 legs. She's my hero.
If her kidney values come down and do turn out to be a medication effect, we can really focus on some good quality of life and maybe sneak in the metronomic protocol or palladia or artemisinin .
Its just so great to see her happy.

Beth with my beloved Tshuvah, 10 year old "TaosDog". Provisional diagnosis osteosarcoma on 6/10/10, amputation of left foreleg same day, firm diagnosis of hemangiosarcoma 6/24/10. Set free on 9/9/10. Treasured forever.

Wonderful update, Beth. A romp down the trail sounds like a great way to celebrate!

Oh Beth! I'm so glad - I was thinking about you and wondered all day! I'm so relieved. I know it's still guarded but let's celebrate today!

Well, we would have if mom had a camera! I wanna see pics!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh yeay! This is such great news to come home to, thanks for letting us know.
Don't forget the camera next time OK?
Cheers to Tshuvah the Tripawd Superstar!

Tshuvah is SUCH a cutie! You know what, she has no idea there's anything even a little bit wrong with her, so it's so great that you're treating her like a normal dog and doing normal doggie things...she doesn't care how long she's got left, and you don't know how long, either! Vets only work off statistics, and each dog is different. I hope she will be the one to throw all the data out the window 🙂 She's just super
