Sounds like Bella's doing great and very glad to hear it! Eating, drinking, moving on her own. Awesome.
I wouldn't worry too much about the panting either. The pain meds do weird things to them too.
Hoping for continued, steady recovery!

Thanks all...
Its been a week and I think all seems ok... Still waiting for Biospy results so we can go ahead and start Chemo Treatments.
Panting is still going on and today she seemed a little more restless.. Getting up and down and trying to reorganize herself to get comfortable. She still is eating and drinking good...
We have her gated not to go up and down the stairs.. but one of the kids forget to put the gate back and she went up and down 13 steps yesteraday no problem. Although, her weight is still a concern of mine.. she is walking funny at most times.. but there are times like when she hears my other dog barks outside she takes off to see whats the story and she runs to the window like she was on 4 legs..
I wonder if the struggle with walking is because she only 1 week post op.. because she is overweight ..combination of both I assume..
Looking at some videos on youtube on Tripaws and seeing them running without panting and taking a break halfway through the run seems amazing and I wonder if she will ever get there..
Although, after last friday and how bad she was.. I am so grateful where we are at today... Still one day at time ..
Trouble was taken off Tramadol about a week prior to being taken off Remidyl. I think once you are able to stop the Tramadol you will see an improvement. If you aren't opposed to cooking for her, I was able to take 14 pounds off Trouble with a very simple diet. Here is the link to her diet in the Nutrition Blog.
In July Trouble was having a really hard time with mobility. On one occasion she just laid on the floor like a rock and refused to move - scared the pejabbers out of me, made a flying trip to the vet. The second time she had been at the vet for a bath and nail trim and when I got her home she just crumpled to the ground when I lifted her out of the car. So far we've not had any other instances since she lost the weight.
