I am so impressed with the way people really pull together on this site!  I have read all of your replies and every last one of them had great points and were well stated.  I'm praying for Una to recover quickly and realize that the decision was a difficult one.  As for people saying that "you should just put the dog down", I have gone through this several times with different pets and I'm glad I always followed my heart and did what was required to at least give my dogs a chance at a good life.  As was stated before, people just don't seem to understand the unbreakable bond of love that some people have with their dogs, and vice versa.  That dog will always be there for you; will love you until the end of time.  We need to do the same for our beloved animals and I have gone broke over some of the cures, but I couldn't be happier.  I gave my dogs a chance at life and because of that I can sleep knowing I at least tried to do the right thing.  I'm with you 100% Una.  It's going to be a tough recovery, but so worth it in the end.  Love, Vicki, Blazer & Kitty Kimber
