Hey guys this wont be long cause we r still in the car drivin home from the vet... But I just wanted to tell u guys u rock!!! I definitely wouldn't be able to deal with all this with out each n every one of u!!!! We brought kaylee for moral support her n alpha were both beyond thrilled to see dr Hansche! Alpha was rolling around like a goof ball wanted to wrestle him! And kaylee of course enjoyed her snuggles! I have the strangest dogs ever lol their vet is like a uncle to them they love going to the vet just to see him!!! I think it also made kaylee feel better that she saw her brother was just going to hangout with dr Hansche! So it's a long 2.5 hour drive back home but well worth I will definitely keep u all posted! Surgery should start around 1 or 2 eastern time. I'm holding up surprisingly well we tried tellin alpha what would be happening (I'm not crazy my pups totally speak English!) he was very happy n had and extra lil spring in his step when we got outa the car he even lifted his leg so so high when he peed that he almost fell over(that's a very alpha thing to do he's always lifted his leg way to high lol) but he stood on his bad leg kind of a finally farewell n good riddance to that pesky leg slowin him down! Everyone in the office goes nuts over him so hell be good n spoiled n I'm not worried at all about him
Waking up from surgery alone someone will be goshing over him! he's in good hands'!

Thx again!

You have such a fantastic attitude! This will be a piece of cake for all of you, I can tell. But we're still sending you lots of good wishes!

And no, you're not crazy for talking to your dog, there's a lot of good that can come from it. Check out our podcasts with animal communicator Stacy K, she shares her tips for communicating with our animals.

Hey Everyone! just got word from alphas vet...He is out of surgery EVERYTHING WENT GREAT! there was very lil blood loss, he said alpha was wonderful! they did blood work n chest X-Rays before the surgery everything was perfect! Alpha is coming out of anesthesia and is wrapped in a blanket so i'm sure hes a very happy man, it doesnt take much to plz him as long as hes nice n warm! Dr Hansche is going to call me again before he leaves for the night ..i'm not sure if anyone is gonna stay with him all night or if its just one of those cameras :-/ i dont really wanna ask i dont really wanna know the answer if know one will be there!...Dr Hansche did say he did the incision very tight to prevent blood pooling and all that fun stuff so it important to make sure alpha is laying down n not being him crazy self for the first 3-4 days ...i did just realize that most dogs have a ton of fur to hide the scar ..alphas fur is literally no longer then beard scruff! so im really curious how that will look..Hell just be more bad ass :) hell look just like his daddy! (my husband likes to break himself so he has lots of scars and metal rods n plates and nails and screws!!)  they will probably keep him for 2 nights unless hes doin amazing tomoro n then we can get him tomoro afternoon ...my husband is kinda pushing him to stay 2 nights being that hes had so many surgeries he knows the drugs r better in the hospital! so we will see know just time to wait out the biopsy! JUST BE BENIGN! i dont care what it is! as long as its benign!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys!

XOXO Suzy, Joe, Kaylee & ALPHA

Oh a lil side note to make u guys smile Alpha was Joeys best man at our wedding they walked down the aisle to Love me like my dog does by Billy Currington

Kaylee was the Flower Girl :) she walked down with my sister because my niece freakout and ran around all the guest NOT down the aisle to her mom who was one of my bridesmaids lmao

YAY! Go Alpha, you are a rock!

I agree that if you have the option to let him stay another night at the hospital it would be beneficial. Your husband likes to break himself? That is funny!  But yeah obviously he knows what surgery and post-op care is like so at least you both have lots of experience there. What a team you all are!

As for the battle scar, have you seen this Tripawds design from our Cafe Press store? It was inspired by brave Bellona, who wanted all Tripawds to be proud of our battle scars!

Thanks for the great update!!! I think Alpha will look so dashing with his scar. You won't be able to hold the girls back!!! Crossing all our fingers and toes for a "no cancer" diagnosis.

Take care.
