We went to rehab facility last Thursday. They recommended hydrotherapy- we start tomorrow. They also recommended a cart - said that she was not sure if or when he would be able to get around by himself ?. We are trying to stay positive.
He seemed to be moving a little better and then had a day or two that he seemed to regress. Today has been a little better though. He actually sat down for a few minutes and then stood up on his own for a minute and then sat back down. YAY !!!
He still has not urinated or defecated while standing - He does that laying down. He always had to walk and poop. ?
Oh good I'm glad you're getting into rehab! Let us now how it goes today, we're cheering you on from here!
Stay pawsitive. I know it's hard, but you can do it. Your attitude makes such a difference. Please keep us posted.
