Hi there,
Koko is having a hard time with finding a soft harness type of assistive walking device. Her help em up harness is digging into her incision site. It bled today and now is tender to touch. I have another harness that covers more surface area but Id like it to be softer. It rubs even with her post op shirt underneath. I would like to use a sheet but I feel like it would bunch up in the middle. Trying to spread the pressure out underneath...anyone have any ideas or success with things to use?
Hmmm. I would wait until that area is healed up before using anything, even something super soft. For now try the DIY Grocery Bag Sling to assist if she needs it. If she needs something long-term, the Custom Pet Support Suit might be a good idea.
