Hi, I have been reading your post, and boy what a roller coaster ride you have been on. So happy to see Genie doing better.
Brownie didn't have any pain issues after surgery. He was on pain meds for three weeks. We tapered off on the third week. It took about three weeks for Brownie to get his mojo back, but it did come back bigger then ever!
I hope that Genie's days better better and better!
GET THAT BALL GENIE!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

Good job of identifying the phantom pain , and, clearly, that's what was going on.
Thrilled to hear well she is doing and, yes, it still gets netter!!!😁👍👏
Onward and upward sweet Genie!❤

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh thank DOG! I'm so happy she's got her mojo back, or almost. I'll bet she's saving up all those barks, watch out!
I hope the pain relief continues. Keep us posted.

Hi Benny55 and Jerry
Am so excited to update you both that Genie is doing so well! She had inflammation on her other hind leg for a while but that's getting better too. And Doctors have said that she is very active and walking well on 3. I can't tell enough how much of support you've both been during the first few months. I am so happy to have found this group and be a part of it.
WOOOHOOO!!!! I'm so hoppy to hear this! That's terrific news and you just made my day. She had such a tough up and down recovery, it's gotta be a real relief to get off that roller coaster ride.
We are glad you found us too!
Don't forget, the Tripawds Foundation can pay for Genie's first rehab visit so please take advantage of the program OK? And keep us posted on how she's doing.
