Oh no, not phantom pain ! Tate did not have it but it doesn't sound like any fun. Someone told me her vet said it only lasts 2 weeks and she found that to be true. But I don't know about that and anyway, 2 weeks is a long time when your pup's in pain.
Tate didn't do rehab. But then again, he didn't do any harnesses, slings, runners, booties, raised food bowls, exercise equipment...we asked the surgeon about it and she didn't say "no", she just said it probably wasn't necessary in Tate's case. I guess because he was only 4 and in pretty good shape. Although now he's porking up a bit and I think a little aerobics class might be to his benefit!
Cadence got a referral from Cynthia, maybe she can help you out. She's trifod2004, just in case you can't reach Cynthia. BTW, Isabelle is 13 and is in fabulous condition!
