Hopefully this photo will come thru. I'm posting bc it means so much to me. Back in July on Days + 2-4 I when we were sleep deprived and Ruby was continuously crying out after her amputation I told Kacy thru tears one night "I just can't wait until she sleeps like she used to wv3 paws up in the air (instead of 4)". Well last night I got a middle of night text w 3 PAWS UP!!! HOORAY! Yes Ruby Girl, 3 Paws up bc you are doing great w all these changes. Our prayers are answered as you sail thru your chemo #1 and your physical therapy. 3 Paws up because you have calmed your Mons fears enough to Alliw her to excel in her grad program. 3 Paws up to all the ones who have helped us on this forum!!
Theres just really nothing better than a sleepy TriPawd with 3 Paws up!!
Your Loving Grams
Lisa
Can't wait till the photo is up - so happy to hear about the celebratory text and how well she is doing, Lisa and Kacy! 3 paws up for Ruby!!!

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Sleeping upside down is a great sign! It means a happy, relaxed dog. I loved it when I saw Otis doing that.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
Yeah for 3 Paws Up!!!
Ruby, you keep on showing Mom & Gram just what you can do!

Back sleeping with paws up is my favorite. When Shea sleeps like that my husband and I always say to the other just look at her. She's slept that way for 8 years and it makes us 😍😍😍😍😍 every time.
Now I've only seen this pose with 4 paws. But would love to see it with 3. Hope you can get the picture posted.
