Well we are 2 months post op. And so far so good. She continues to be a happy dog. I would be lying if I said i wasn't nervous for her second chemo treatment on wednesday. I try to say pawsative , but worry her bloodwork will not come back clean. Until then, here she is on her longest walk so far. Out back. She loves walking in woods
Oh you wiggle butt! Yes she IS a hoppy girl! It shows! And that's because you are keeping a pawsitive attitude and being an awesome pack leader. YAY to both of you for this big ampuversary!
Of course you'll worry, that's to be expected. Just do your best to follow Coco's lead and live by her example. She's here Now, and ready to have fun!
Paws crossed for an easy peasy chemo treatment and excellent labs. Keep us posted.

Cannot stop grinning!😁 Coco is the epitome of happiness! Can tell if the dog is wagging the tail or the tail is wagging the dog. Either way, she is a delightfully joyous dog thoroughly enjoining being out in Nature.....and geing with you♥️
Thanks for the smiles😊

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Just wanted to throw the update out there following Cocos 2nd treatment. The oncologist said physically she looks great and is very happy. Her one lymph node one her existing front leg seemed to return to normal size and didnt seem to concern her any. Her blood work come back pretty good even though her liver values were a little more elevated than her previous labs, but she was still able to do her 2nd round. They were 89 in Dec before amputation 139 before her first treatment (125 the high normal range) and 189 today. It could be from the chemo. They wont get overly concerned unless it spikes up to the 500 range. Hopefully we are moving in the right direction. As long as she remains pain free and happy its all one can ask for. Again thanks for all the support.
Well that sounds like a pretty darn good pupdate for wiggly butt Coco👍 The Onco seems to have a good handle on things and is doing a good job of moni Coco.
Just a thought, were any supplements suggested for liver support? Milk thistle? Deramin (may be off on the name)? Seems like ot would be helpful whether chemo related or not.
Thanks for the update, but you forgot something. We need a video or picture of happy Coco or both!

Yes she is on Demarin for her liver. Hoping its the chemo causing the elevation. Sounds like as long as it doesnt spike up to around the 500 range all systems are a go. Im hoping to get her through all 4-6 treatments and keeping that butt wiggling as long as I can. Thank you so much for the kind words..
Oh yeah you are going in the right direction! Even the lymph node is behaving! YAY!
Glad to hear she's wiggling away. WHEEE!
P.S. I agree, pictures!
