Bob, our hearts go out to you, we are so saddened to know your beautiful girl will earn her wings on Friday. We wish her a peaceful transition filled with love. Know that our hearts are with all of you and we are by your side in spirit.

Thank you so much for all you've done to share her story here. You've shown the hard times and the good ones, and taught others that despite the ups and downs, life after amputation can be beautiful and good. We appreciate your allowing us to be a part of your lives.

Many hugs coming your way, now and always.

You have told a wonderful story of a beautiful girl. Peace to you and your family.

I am so very sorry to see this.  It was so eerily familiar to me, except we were graciously rewarded with 27 1/2 months post amp.  But the decline was fast and close to identical to what you described. Trouble will be there to welcome Libby, her kindred spirit, to the bridge.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thanks for all the kind words.  Libby went peacefully today a little over an hour ago, she was surrounded by her family and looked relieved as she drifted away.  She will be missed very much.  I'll especially miss carrying her upstairs to bed at night, which has been the routine for the last 6 months.

Bob and family, we send our deepest condolences to you. Libby had an amazing life with you pack and although I know that doesn't make losing her any less difficult, I hope the memories of your life together will ease your broken heart. We are so very sorry.

Thank you for taking the time today while in deep despair and grief to let us know her crossover was peaceful and surrou ded by love.. She let you k ow she was ready and I'm glad you were able to the the serenity from within..It's going to be so very difficult withouy her physical presence, but she IS by your side.

She left you with a piece of her neart and took a piece of your heart with her.

When you are able, the joyous memories you shared will surface and slow ly, ever so slowly, push some of the sadness away. You can look at that photo you posted of her "unique" alignment of her front leg that clearly was very comfortable to her--regardless how it looked to us! I think she k ew that would make you smile someday

Libby know how llved she is and soaked up every ounce of the loving and spoilingyou infused her with this past half year plus! And that very same love will keep you connected forever.

Can you think of one thing that she always did when she wanted a treat that made you smile? Did she make a sound, or maybe just stare at you with the "begging" look on ner face? Did she wag her tail whrn she knew she'd won and she was gonna' get the treat?

Holding you and your famiy in our hearts You gave her the ultimate gift of love today.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I think there is no greater responsibility and no greater gift than the decision to help our beloved companions over the bridge.  Out of this life, but out of pain and suffering.  It's a solemn responsibility, but one taken out of great love.  And so it's never easy, but always the right thing to do.  I've always been told that I'd know when the time has come, and it's been true, as it has for you.  Peace to you and your family, and to Libby, running free and whole.  She's the newest star in the sky.

Many thoughts and hearts are with you.
